Back to the Future
1985 | Adventure | USA | Directed by Robert Zemeckis
Overview
Marty McFly hits eighty eight miles per hour in a DeLorean and meets his teenage mother, who falls for him. A perfect clockwork script: every gag planted, every payoff earned. Christopher Lloyd built Doc Brown out of an improv. Top grosser of 1985 and an Oscar for sound effects. The time travel comedy that all others measure against. Great Scott.
